Terms of Service

Draft skeleton — not reviewed by a lawyer. Have this reviewed by qualified legal counsel in every jurisdiction you plan to operate in before launch. Bracketed items need your input.

1. Nature of the service

Bitget FX Markets ("the Platform") is a custodial trading service. By depositing funds you are transferring custody of those funds to Bitget FX Markets, and you are relying on Bitget FX Markets to maintain accurate records of your balance and to honor withdrawal requests in accordance with these Terms and the Risk Disclaimer.

2. Account balance and ledger

Your account balance is an internal record maintained by Bitget FX Markets. It does not represent a specific, segregated, on-chain allocation of funds held on your behalf unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Trade execution

Trades you open on the Platform are executed bilaterally between you and Bitget FX Markets at a quoted price, and Bitget FX Markets is the counterparty to those trades. The exception is AlgoBot: trades placed automatically by AlgoBot are routed to the Binance exchange, and Bitget FX Markets is not the counterparty to them.

4. Withdrawals

Withdrawal requests are subject to manual review. Bitget FX Markets may request additional identity verification (KYC) for withdrawals above [$10,000] or where fraud is suspected. Bitget FX Markets aims to process withdrawal requests within [24 hours] but does not guarantee a specific processing time.

5. Account restrictions

Bitget FX Markets may freeze an account, restrict trading, or restrict withdrawals where it reasonably suspects fraud, violation of these Terms, money laundering, or a legal or regulatory obligation to do so. [Insert process for user notification and appeal.]

6. No guarantee of profit

Trading involves risk of loss. Bitget FX Markets does not guarantee profits and is not liable for trading losses arising from normal use of the Platform.

7. Fees

[List spread, withdrawal fee, overnight/financing fee, and any other fees, matching what's actually charged in the code — e.g. current withdrawal fee and spread percentage.]

8. Governing law and dispute resolution

[Insert jurisdiction, governing law, and dispute resolution process — this has real consequences for what licensing applies to you and needs a lawyer's input, not a template.]

9. Changes to these terms

Bitget FX Markets may update these Terms from time to time. [Insert notice process.]
